This episode features an interview with Kierra Smith of Kelowna, BC. Last season was a breakout season for Kierra, who was a finalist at Olympic Trials (tied for 2nd in 200BR in the prelims, finished 4th in finals) and was a National Gold Medalist in the summer and a member of Team Canada at the Junior Pan Pacific Games in Hawaii in August. Last season, she finished 32nd in the world for 200BR. She now resides at the University of Minnesota.  Kierra talks about last season, her goals this season and her reasoning for leaving a World Breaststroke Hotspot of BC to follow in the footsteps of 2012 Canadian Olympian and NCAA champ, Jillian Tyler.
